Resting Dagger Now Offers 30 Daggerheart Environments

From enchanted locations to dangerous battlefields: Environments are among the most interesting tools in the Daggerheart toolbox—and anyone looking for fresh material for their own campaign can now find a substantial collection at Resting Dagger. The fan project now offers 30 original Daggerheart Environments and plans to expand its archive every month.

According to the creator, six new Environments per month are planned going forward. This could quickly turn the collection into an extensive resource for GMs looking to enhance their encounters with new locations featuring their own unique traits, challenges, and dangers.

The complete archive, currently containing 30 Environments, is available through Resting Dagger’s Patreon. There is also a special promotion currently running: The creator is offering 50% off the first month, advertising access to all 30 Environments for $3.50.

Those who do not want to subscribe to Patreon right away will not be left entirely empty-handed. According to the creator, free Daggerheart Environments will continue to be released as well. Paying Patreon members, meanwhile, receive access to the complete archive of all currently available Environments.

With six new locations planned each month, Resting Dagger is following a regular release schedule. In Daggerheart in particular, Environments can be far more than simple backdrops: They can actively influence encounters and help GMs make combat, exploration, and other scenes feel more strongly shaped by the locations in which they take place.
